My freshly rebuilt 8.75 rearend had a nice little vent cap on it, but it leaked fluid, as many do. Notice the fluid track to the lower right of the vent in this picture. See: http://s785.photobucket.com/user/67dart ... f.jpg.html They sell kits for "extended" venting systems, for like $40, for example: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lng-22568 ...but it's easy to build your own for way way cheaper. I used a short length of 5/16" fuel line, a small hose clamp, a cheap FRAM fuei filter and a metal bracket from another fuel filter (that I never used and cost me only a few dollars).
