I've had the axles out of this Ford 8" for a couple of weeks now and am wondering if there is service required for the bearings. They feel smooth, but wonder if there is a way to pack them with grease? Are these guys sealed lube?

Should be a sealed bearing with the oil seal in the axle tube inboard the bearing.

Yes, the axle seal is inboard of the bearing. I wondered if it needed greasing like front bearings?

Looks like a sealed bearing to me. Nothing to do except replace it when it fails.
