I've never done a Mopar manual transmission, but for all the other I've done....

I've had to walk them off by pushing the tail back and forth and sticking larger and larger things in the gaps that develop between the tranny and engine.

Post subject:  What have you separated?

If you are pulling the tranny only, you have 4 bolts into the bellhousing and will have to pull the crossmember and the tranny mount, put a jack and block of wood under the rear edge of the oil pan and tilt the assembly down at a slight angle to allow gravity to help, then push on the transmission and wobble is back and forth to walk it out of the crank and clutch disc...at some point you can use a prybar between the tranny face and bellhousing for leverage...put another jack under the tranny to easy it down (it weighs about 150+ lbs and I know no one that's a human load lifter laying on their backs)...after that you can easily tackle the bellhousing, clutch cover, and flywheel if going that far....(be sure to remove the starter first before removing the bellhousing).

It's tough to take the assembly "whole" out of the car unless you can tilt the engine until the head is literally riding against the firewall (and your wiring harness)...the bellhousing tends to hang up on the flywheel with the weight of the tranny hanging off of it...

Good Luck,
