Where did you get the "new" carb? Did you verify any of the settings on the new carb when you installed it?

LOL that is the way these cars drove right off the show room floor…

That funny little put-down, when you put your foot down, and that’s what hesitation all about...

Get some Getty Gas, the gas with guts.

You need to tune the carb, set the timing to more optimal setting and check valve lash.

What is you base or static timing set to?

What carburetor are you using?

Do you have any vacuum leaks?

What are your intake and exhaust lash settings?

my timing is set to about 11 tdc
im using a carter bbd i have the super six set up on my duster even when i had the single carb on it still has this issue was thinking vacuum advance checked it but its good.

im thinking possible exhaust leak? because it only stalls when engine is cold after 10 minute ride its all good

i just hate it cause on the way out of work there is a hill and car turns off about 20 feet up the hill

Check and or fix the accelerator pump so you have a nice healthy pump shot. Check for any slop in the linkage then check for how much squirts out looking down the throat with the engine off. Sometimes the outlet hole can corrode and or be easily blocked. Mine shoots a healthy stream of gas....no bog what so ever!

You should be able to break the rear tires loose when set right.

That looks to be faulty choke adjustment; pulling off too quickly, and possibly heat riser system, the device the heats intake manifold below carburetor is stuck and or plugged. When plugged or flapper is stuck no exhaust heat reaches manifold for a quick heat-up which can cause a temporary icing condition or at the least fuel to drop out of suspension in intake resulting in lean condition after choke pull off. Ten minuets would be long enough to allow exhaust manifold to get hot enough to warm the intake enough to improve fuel suspension to allow decent drivability to return.

wjajr when i got the super six installed there was a bad exhaust leak at heat riser valve plus it was broken so i just got the holes welded and and heat riser removed wich was a bad idea now i have to buy a new exhaust manifold so im guessing it is heat riser now that i know i will warm car up for couple of extra minutes not running choke right now till i get the right one

No manifold heat, no choke = no drivability until fully warmed up, no decent cold idle, and a contribution to poor fuel economy particularly when driven for short trips. Also this will hasten cylinder wash-down, wearing of their surfaces, and oil dilution.
