| Post subject: | Truck pan capacity? |
Gentlemen ...... I'm using a truck (rear sump) oil pan on my HAMBster, with a custom dipstick and tube. That tube and dipstick inadvertently went out with this week's trash, and now resides somewhere in Scholl Canyon Dump.  I have extra car dipsticks, and'll cobble one up for the purpose, but my (admittedly limited) search skills haven't been up to finding the oil capacity of this pan so I may re-set the marks. Would one you truck types be kind enough to help me out? |

I believe the truck pan is +1 quart over a car pan, so 5+1 for the filter.

all my sb and bob trucks were 1 quart over car capacity.. so I see no reason they would not do that on the slant too. Greg |

Thanks, Folks, With my lame searching turning up everything from 5 to 7.5, it's still better to ask where it's the main topic rather than a side bar.
