Sorry for the dumb question on timing, but my mind is playing tricks on me. I installed a NOS distributor and I don't have enough adjustment. The furthest I can retard the timing is 5 degrees advanced, and yes I checked the back side adjustment bolt on the plate. In order to achieve timing more around TDC, I need to move it a tooth over. Do I move the distributor a tooth counter-clockwise? Or clockwise?
