I have seen them mostly on mid to late 70's Volares and Aspens. I would think pick-up trucks and vans had them as well.

Happy hunting.

Check any Aspen/Volare station wagons- for a few years the 2bbl was standard equipment on slants.

I have 2 cast iron super six intakes and one of the die cast, welded alum. I think I have a spare BBD and air cleaner. No kick down. PM me if you are interested.

I got mine from a truck.
The 2 piece welded type.
Had it epoxy coated then powder coated.
Have not had it installed yet.

If you find one at a pick-n-pull, get all the linkages all the way to the transmission too. And the air cleaner can.

The Super Six was "standard" only on 77-80 slant powered passenger car wagons (and slant powered Chryslers of these years). Non-Chrysler brand sedans, coupes, trucks, and vans all had single barrel standard. I have personally seen one factory slant powered van, and I have built a second slant powered van using the VERY rare and hard to find van specific Super Six air cleaner and kick down linkage. I have seen numerous super six trucks.

These days you will be hard pressed to find a factory setup, and if you do it will be expensive and incomplete. You can actually put your own system together using a two barrel intake, a carb, an air cleaner off of a 318, and a cable-style kickdown linkage. The two barrel intake can be made form a modified single barrel intake, and the carb can be pretty much any two barrel carb provided you get an air cleaner for it. If you use a Carter BBD or Holley 2280, you can use a stock 318 air cleaner and buy a reproduction "super six" decal for the lid.

Thanks for all the information. I was also wondering if there is a difference when it comes to the color of the intake. mine right now is red but I have seen them blue and mostly the ones i have seen were blue online. I have heard the blue is from later years so was wondering it I have to try to find a red one.

I also found this, he is asking 350 and I was wondering if I actually needed all these parts? He is willing to part it. I know I need the intake and carb and cleaner, but what about the distributor and exhaust?

He is offering for the air cleaner, carb (supposdly rebuilt) and intake 250 plus shipping, you think it is a fair price? I have no idea what stuff is worth.
