I have ordered the park cover gasket http://www.ebay.com/itm/370930456659?ss ... 1423.l2649 What I am wondering is does the transmission need to be drained? |

If you lift the rear of the car to do the work, you won't lose very much fluid, maybe a quart or two. Use stands under the rear axle and lift it as high as safely possible. You'll still need a drain pan, but most of it will stay in the converter. Then just top it off when you're done. |
