Those little blue bubble light filters in the dash cluster...do they make the light blue or do they just "clean up" the yellow of the little bulbs? In other words, if I put a colored bulb, say red, will my dash light up red or will it be purple (blue + red)? I want to make it more green actually, to match my tach light, I'm wondering if green bulbs will get washed to cyan by the blue filters. If so, I'll have to swap for clear filters. Anybody done this? My guess is the blue filters are pretty weakly blue and colored bulbs will work fine. Brian |

FYI, I tried the green LED lights in my dash, and even with the blue filters they are way too GREEN! You know, like that glowing fluorescent green they use for "alien stuff" in SciFi movies....yuck. I'm going to try standard 194 bulbs with green filters on them. brian |
