Post subject: | Fuel Tank Replacement |
Good Day,I am going to be replacing my fuel tank on a 72 scamp with the evap can. I am wanting to remove this item because it seems to be running a bit worse plus it smells like gas still even though I have plumbed everything in as best as possible.Plus the tank has a couple nice dings on the bottom and Im slowly replacing things with new. What tanks can I use that will eliminate having the can . Thanks for all the help/advice |

Just run a vent line instead the evap line.....same tank. I just did this on my DeSoto. I ran the line up to the top of the fender and put a vent cap on it. |

I need to replace the tank anyway I found a cut wire near the sending unit and also the dents while replacing the shocks. Theres two air lines in the trunk so I thought I had air shocke. They were very old rusty red no names with overload springs bolted to the shock. Where was the air going?? |
