I know I've put my HEI issues in multiple threads but I'm trying to get specific answers to specific questions this way. I've read conflicting information and am now thoroughly confused. I'm installing the HEI on the passenger inner fender and using a separate coil (so now I have 2 coils). Do I need to run the original coil + wire to the new coil in addition to the "B" terminal on the module, thereby having both the old coil + wire and the new coil + wire both on the new coil's + terminal? What about the old coil - wire? Same scenario? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

And the answer is YES. The original coil + connection is necessary for the start/kill circuit of the ignition. So you wind up with the original coil + terminal and the HEI "B" coil + terminal both connected to your coil +. Thanks to all!
