Kinda confused over what to do with the ballast resistor wiring after HEI install. I've read several threads but most address a 2 post ballast resistor and I have a 4 post resistor. Could be I'm just too much of a noob to understand what people are talking about so here's a photo of mine with the posts numbered. If you're inclined to help, would it be too much trouble to refer to the wiring as Post #1, etc? I'm using the wiring terminal at Post #1 (blue wire) as the 12v switched source to trigger my relay for the HEI module. What do I do with the wiring for Posts 2-4? Also, is it acceptable to just unplug the OEM ignition box and leave it without interfering with the HEI ignition setup? Thanks for any and all input!

Tried various things but this worked. Make a jumper wire with 1 male spade on one end and a double (or 2 wire) male spade on the other end. Use this jumper wire and connect the top 2 terminal ends (disconnected from the resistor) together. Use the 3rd spade as your "trigger" source for the HEI relay. Disconnect and let hang, or fasten out of the way, the bottom 2 resistor terminal ends. Thanks to all!
