Hi all! I just registered and happy to be here. I'm working on a 76 power wagon. The W200 was powered with a 440 which I pulled and gave to my buddy to build up his 72 demon. In exchange he gave me the super 6. My truck is a full frame off restoration and i always wanted to run the /6. My problem is a bellhousing/flywheel to the np435. I've tried a lot of breaker yards and Wildcats in Oregon and came up empty handed. I've noticed it's been brought up before in the forums as being hard to find but there out their. I'm also interested in the 4spd OD that chevy ran in 4x4 that would bolt up to /6 bellhousing but then i could run into transfercase bolt up issues. I'm pretty much looking for a solid solution so i can the /6. I can supply pictures and all as my trucks in pieces and have all the time to find the right combo. Thanks! |

If you are in Oregon is to go over to RAM Truck Salvage in North Portland, tell them you need a bellhousing and flywheel and any linkage for a 1981 Dodge D-150 225 slant six with the 11" clutch...last time I was there, they had what you need for the conversion and you can keep your 4x4 ability with the NP435...they had a couple left when I was last there... |

Thanks for reply! I'm an Oregonian but stationed in Utah. I'll contact them. My buddy found a hidden stash of Ram pickups in a Salvage Yard near Salt Lake. Funny when i call seems like they don't know what i want or have no clue what a /6 is. On another note would a 727 tailshaft bolt up to a 904 I'm thinking it will looks the same. |
