There is a straight cover available, I did the same thing anew years back. I don't remember what it was for but the guys at my local auto parts store pulled it off the shelf for me, common item. Also if you measure the lengthens and where the curves need to be you can find a hose that will work in one piece, again I got a hose for mine but don't remember what it fit. I do know it was off a truck and had at least one to many turns that I cut off to make a nice custom fit. For the bottom the stock hose worked, I had a friend relocate the connection on the radiator a little lower. Hope I am of some help. |

Late 318 with the small thermostat should do the trick. |

If you want cast aluminum and don't mind non-Mopar stuff, I once used a Ford Taurus 3.8 housing, like a Four Seasons #84999. Probably fits more applications, should be boneyard friendly. Just had to drill the holes oversize. |

I have the housing and the hose that works well listed in my Valiant build thread over in the Virtual drag strip section. Part #'s are there too. I will try and get you a link. Rick Here is the thread. If you have the 1 3/4" angled lower outlet it also shows what hose works for that as well. hope it helps. http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... ose#383413 |

Thanks once again. I will check the part out from local US cars part store. If not available, then rockauto.com |
