got me the super 6 set up for my 225 slant 6 - what do i need to do for the distributor - a stock one will do ? |

i have a 75 dart swinger - the distributor gear - made with a soft nylon - were they not made of metal at one time ? i hear of problems with this plastic gear breaking down- gear failure - the other was that you had to burmish the cam gears with a wire wheel - whats this all about |

Every Slant-6 ever built in the United States, right from the first ones in late 1959, came with a nylon distributor drive pinion. When they are installed correctly and the camshaft is not a poor-quality item, the nylon drive pinions work well for many years. |
