Post subject:  Willamette Valley Slant Gathering
DusterIdiot and I are in the preliminary stages of planning for a spring gathering of Slant Six fans.

This is ostensibly a Willamette Valley gathering, but if you want to Drive in from Utah or Darwin, we're OK with that.

Tentative dates we have to work with right now are April 4th, or April 18th. Location would be my place, unless we find something better! I have two grills and a smoker. DusterIdiot will be providing his signature Marinade and grilling skills, and I'll be on the ABT's. Those that wish to imbibe, bring a sleeping bag or a duty driver. If your drinkin' you ain't leavin'. We'll find something relatively soft to prop you up against!

I can also bring some marinaded chicken breasts, and make a stop by my favorite deli and get a selection of sausages to grille/smoke if we have enough of a crowd (mmmmm....german cheese franks und weissen...)...

Well, since my Slant is in your shop with no home for it yet, I guess I still qualify to show up! I''ll make sure to wear my MoPar garb... :twisted:


Count me in for either date, or both! I can also handle the ABTs... just sayin :D I make my own special ones now.... haha. Otherwise, I'll find some stuffs to bring that would fit well with the foods involved currently... I'm thinking Caribbean influence :shock:
