Post subject:  thermostat housing

I've seen many SL6's with a thermostat housing.neck that is 180 degree, not 90 deg, where does one get one of those? I've read Ford and other ones might interchange.

I have a home made double 90 degree neck, it works fine, but I was thinking of trying a "straight out" option.

thanks,

Brian

New thermostat housing for later V-8 car works fine except you need to drill the mounting holes out to slant 6 size. Mine came from Summit ( Summit Racing Part Number: FSS-84909 )

Post subject:  does the V8 mopar small block neck fit?

Seems like that might be the same fitment...

Yes. That's what I have on my car. Just make sure it's from a year they used the same size thermostats... at one point they switched over to an obviously bigger size.

Looks like that one might not fit the thermostat, does it?

The one I posted is a straight housing and does fit the standard thermostat. See the link above.
