Does anyone have any thoughts on the preferred location of a 4 barrel carb. on the slant relating to the position of the primary barrels? I have an Offy 4 barrel intake. The primary barrels are toward the front of the engine just like a V-8 would have. It seems to me that this would cause uneven fuel distribution at part throttle. I'm sure the Doc has some comments or ideas on this. If anyone else has experimented with this please let me know how it worked for you. Thanks, Joel |

I have tried both ways, and in my experience you get better throttle response with the primaries away from the engine (carb "sideways"). The WOT power will be the same, but street driveability is a bit better with it sideways. Cheers, Lou |
