| Post subject: | Motor Mounts? |
 I've found a '73 Slant Six engine and trans for sale that I'm going to put into my '80 Volare Duster. However, I don't have the original engine mounts from the '80 Slant Six, they're gone. So, what year, or years, Slant Sixes and what body styles can I get the motor mounts from?

Hi Wes! The slants went to the spool type mounts in '73 (same year I have in my '72 Satellite), so I believe that if you get this type mount you should be alright. If not, ask for the '80 mounts. The bosses on the block should be the same where you put the mounts. When I put in my '73 block, the mounts for '72 bolted right up. If you find some F or M body mounts you should be ok. I think. I hope. Maybe?

Wes, Like i said on ss.com, everything will bolt right up, but you need the mount brackets off of any year f-body and possibly any M-body Justin |
