I plan to re install the engine back into the 68 barracuda this weekend.
i.e. small register tranny (67 and down) & large register crank ( 68 and up)

for the adapter ring that fits the the small register tranny to the large register crank.

does the adapter 'snap' into the crank register, or will I need to loctite or glue it into the crank register to hold it in place while I am re setting the engine?
the tranny is still in the car.

I still have the engine on a roll over, won't be able to get to the crank flange until I get the engine on the shop crane..

It slides in. I just let mine float with no adhesive. If worried about it dropping out during install, you might just smear a little bearing grease in the crank pocket to stick it in, or maybe RTV.
