Been looking and trying to figure out what is and this and where to get this. Somebody help me or tell me what aftermarket gauge and adapter they use. http://s280.photobucket.com/user/Camiki ... sort=1&o=8 http://s280.photobucket.com/user/Camiki ... sort=1&o=7 |

That location on the oil pump is where the stock oil pressure "idiot light" switch would mount. It looks like someone plumbed in a T-fitting so they could keep the stock oil pressure light hooked up and also run an aftermarket gauge. That silver/black fitting screwed into the center of the T with a blue wire hooked up to it is the stock sender for the dash light. The other side of the T is hooked to a plastic oil line that would lead to a mechanical gauge. |

All those bits are available at your local hardware store. I believe the hole in the pump is threaded for 3/8 pipe thread. Go to the plumbing section. Many oil pressure gauge sending units are 1/4 pipe thread or possibly even 1/8 pipe thread. You will likely need adapters. |

And if you're going to run a mechanical guage, DO NOT run plastic line. It's a good way to spray oil all over the inside your car at some later date. Use small diameter copper tubing instead. Roger |
