two questions. my gear cable in my 65 cuda floor shift won't move. I've sprayed rust penetrant many times. any cure???

also, a friend has a good cable that is from 64 dart pushbutton. will this work?????? thanks

I tore the ligaments in my shoulder a month ago and just now can get back to working on things, I was wrong. it was the park cable that I can't get to move. maybe its not the cable but in the e trans ????
