OK, so I was in a rush to get my wifes 64 Valiant swapped over to LBP disks. redid upper and lower BJ, upper a arm bushings, and all the brake stuff.I felt the lower bushings were tight enough to get me through for now....so I could move a 63 Valiant I had sold. Well, the shop wouldnt aline the front end.....said ideler, lower bushings and pitman needed to be replaced....crap! so no allignment was done. I have new tierod ends, bushings, strut rod bushings, and idler arm.....but cant seem to locate a PITMAN arm for a manual steering 64. Anyone have a sourse? Looked at Rockauto, nothing......never bought from them before, so search might be my fault.LOL Thanks.....Andrew/Kidd |

Pitman arms are the same for all '62-'66 A-body (Dart, Valiant, Barracuda) regardless of manual or power steering, V8 or \6 engine, etc. They are no longer so easy to get hold of. Try Old Car Parts Northwest? |

Rock Auto lists pitman arms for '65 & '66, but not for '64 & earlier. Perhaps a mis-listing on their part? |
