The manual windows in my '85 D150 don't operate smoothly. Is there something that I should lubricate or adjust? Or should I get new window regulators? I think it needs new rubber in the tracks Any suggestion for vendors for the door channel rubber? |

When I restored my '73 D100 several years ago, I got window channels for a '91 model from the Dodge dealer. They fit perfectly and were a huge improvement over the '73 version. With the 10% Mopar club discount I enjoyed at the time the price was competitive with the aftermarket and they were US made. Not sure if Mopar still sells them, but they were a bargain at the time and are still in great shape. |

I am adding power window to my 1975. My regulator was very stiff. And all of the rubber on the window except the vent windows were shot. After I removed the regulator I just cleaned all of the teeth and pivot points to remove the dried and worn out grease then relubed with white lithium grease. I did not completely disassemble. I ordered a complete set of weatherstripping for both doors from Auto Parts Warehouse http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/searc ... dfitment=1 Box came in yesterday but I have not gotten to it yet. I will update later today if I get to that part of the project |
