Wanted how many were out there, I'm kinda untreated in boosting my car and the kit seems interesting, what kind if HP gains did you get?

I no longer have the car. It was the blue duster on their site. I have the driveline in a 71 dart now. I did finally tune it on a chassis dyno and had 308 hp at the wheels on 8 lbs of boost. Have been running 15 lbs for a bit now don't have any numbers on 15 lbs of boost. The kit was enough price wise I went this route because I prefer a supercharger

Nice to hear someone has had success with this kit. Care to tell us more about the combo and how the S. Store kit went together? Where are you located?

Thanks,

Lou

Any pictures of the kit? Price? The website doesn't have any pictures or information about the kit (at least not that I could find). Does it truly eliminate AC and power steering? Is it truly a serpentine belt drive?

It was a bolt on kit everything fit very nicely and good quality very happy with it. The only issue I had was the cooling fan I have a standard 4 blade fan but had to machine down a taller spacer to fit properly. It is very tight to fit in a electric fan. There are pics on their website double click mopar for the pics my car is the blue duster. As far as a/c and power steering it takes up the area for those. I am located in ontario, canada

Are you running 6.28 sec on a regular 1/8th mile track? I see a dail in on the windshield of the Duster at the strip. That is very fast for a car like that.

Thanks,
Lou

The dial on the window was 16.28 there was a milder engine in the car at the time. The best time with the procharged motor at 8lbs was 12.90 here is an old video of the first time at the track with it. Think it was 13.56 against the 440 charger https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YUOT9Au01c8

The price of the kit was about $5500 plus carb. If your serious just call bob at the supercharger store for exactly what it would can vary depending on a few things. The motor is a steel crank .060" over 8 to 1 comp. Stock rods, ported head with stainless 1.78 1.50 valves, cox brothers roller rockers, Clifford pushrods, block is o-ringed with copper head gasket. 650 blow through carb by pc carburetors ,mp 6 into 1 header, comp cam custom .541 int .556 ex lift

Thanks for the info. 12.90 is still moving at 8 psi with a full bodied car you can drive around. That looks like a fair price for such a kit with tuned carb and all. There's at least $3000-3500 in parts alone, plus engineering and tuning/development.
