Finally the turbo duster is back on the road and i'm currently re tuning or tweaking. I've re tightened my header studs many many times now and i'm pretty sure the gasket has blown already so i'll be pulling it back off soon since i'm loosing spool and i hate the sound of the exhaust leak!! I was curious about making a copper gasket for the header/intake flange is copper to soft for the heat on a turbo setup? I'm using one of those fancy graphite gaskests from CNC guy is if memory serves. The first one lasted years and sealed well but this one doesn't wanna seal so something may not be sitting right or warped this time around. Before I take it all apart i'm debating to try making a copper gasket or just order some more of those graphite ones since the first time I used them it worked great until this time putting the engine back together. Input needed! or leads on a good header gasket to use for my turbo setup not sure if anything has changed in the last couple years. Kev |

CNC Dude has copper ones available already. No need to make one. Just drop him a PM. Quote: fancy graphite gaskests Those were probably the Remflex gaskets.Rick |
