Found a 87 D150 today with the radiator missing at a nearby junkyard. It has a/c p/s and p/b. And a much needed but unknown condition A904 transmission. I want to know if these components will fit in and on my 80 d150 with my 76 SL6 engine.

If the 87 truck is a slant six, then YES! All of the above will bolt right in to your 80 truck. Sounds like a good score!Maybe buy the whole 87 truck and swap radiators with your truck?

I am using a new universal radiator in my truck. All I did was put a 2x4 under it to make sure it wasent resting on the cross support and then i drilled the our holes needed to mount it.

I'm using a big fat 4 pass radiator from a D 350 wrecker, and it bolted in using the factory holes. You're good to go.

I thought '86 was the last year for the slant six? After that they launched the 3.9L with the new Dakota, and started using it in Rams as well?

87 was the last year for installation of the slant in new vehicles.
