Say I found a 63 push button trans, and I have a 65 valiant with a slipping transmission. Would I be able to use that pb trans in the 65 with some parts swapping? |

Yes. Swap the valve body, filter and pan. Make sure you don't use a filter from a 66 or later trans. |

Don't "swap" the filter, which would involve installing a used filter—not a good idea. Filter and pan info here. |

Dan, I didn't mean swaping the filter from the 63 trans. Meant "use the 64-65 filter", and 64 up pan. |
