I am trying to finish installing a super six setup but am having troubles locating a few bolts that need to be replaced due to them being sheared when they were removed by the local junk yard hand. I am wondering if anyone here can help me locate part numbers for these bolts so that I can go to my local dealer and see if they can get the parts. The local dealer claims to not have anyway to look up the old part numbers without going back to chrysler. Here is what I need: (2) bolts for top of intake manifold that are for mounting the carb. (2) bolts (about 5" long I'm guessing) that hold the intake and exhaust manifolds together. (2) bolts for exhaust manifold that mount tail pipe to manifold. |

I tried the AutoZone here, but they do not carry bolts/studs rated for high temperature applications ie exhaust manifold temps and recommended I try the Local Dealership. I imagine I can find some studs for the intake manifold but my concern is greater for the exhaust manifold bolts and the pass through bolts that hold the intake and exhaust together. I could be wrong but would the temperature stress on these parts not cause them to fail relatively quickly if they are not rated for the high temperature application? |

Out West we have Orchard Supply Hardware stores, they have a large selection of bolts, in all the different "grades". All the stuff you are missing is "on the shelf" and would cost less then $5.00 DD |

Same here, went to an independent automotive parts supplier to get the exhaust flange studs. They even asked if I wanted steel or brass. Maybe brass doesn't deteriorate as badly in the extremely hot environment of the exhaust. It certainly won't rust. Jerry |
