So I pulled my Dash out in December to put a new speedo in, and new bulbs. Then I got sick.......so this week after work I have been getting it all back together. I realized that on the RH side looking at it from the back, there is not a plug under my dash for the 3 stud/pins on the small circuit board. My L blinker indicator that I thought was bad......dosent work, I popped the dash forward and REALISED that crap, I cant find where the plug is???? Then realized I didn't pull one off. So ???? I need to know if anyone has a 67-69 Barracuda, and what the plug or plugs look like that go on that side. What color are the wires? Any help would be great. Andrew/Kidd |

Also, I may have misspoke about the voltage reducer. Can't remember which year they began using those... :shrug: |

My Dart has broken pins on end of its circuit board. All I did was clean and solder jumper wires about 10 inches long on each of the small thin copper strips, crimped on Packard #56 (I think is the number) housed in a multi connector. Then removed the old round pin female brass connectors and their plastic housing from their respective conductors, and crimped on the mates to the new jumper harness/pigtail. (See new green, orange & yellow conductors)  You can find the parts and connectors here. if needed. |

"They" have always used a voltage limiter, just some were housed within the fuel gage. I'm fairly sure limiter equipped fuel gage has three bolts holding gage to circuit board, where a non limiter equipped gage has two bolts, and that little three bladed turtle you nicely illustrated plugged into circuit board in plain sight along with a condenser to reduce "make and brake" noise from its contacts interfering with one's radio listening enjoyment. My homemade pig tail fix has been trouble free for nine years. |
