| Post subject: | Cross fit headers? |
I should know this, but. I recently bought an engine for my 66 Valiant. The motor came with a Clifford water heated intake, 390 Holley, and headers. The engine had been in a 69 Barracuda. No the question. The 69 headers into a 66. Is that something I can make happen, or am I looking at get another set for this car? |

Clifford shorties are the desired headers for the pre-67 cars...if they are the clifford long tube headers (2 halves 3 into 1- collector would be down by the oil pan rail and crosslink...)you will need a later car, a bigger car, or you may be able to cut them up and see if you can "reconfigure' the set, but that's a lot of work.... |
