I have a spare stock engine, since I have had the problems with the engine I'm building etc, can I bolt my head, which is .100 shaved, onto the stock engine? and also can I put my 4 barrel and headers on it? I don't have a one or two barrel. I am putting this in my dart for the mean time til my other engine is done. |

the only issue other than driveabilty <ping> might be pushrods |

What issue with drivability? I can get shorter PR, but I don't believe I need those for .100 off the head. I think there is enough adjustment there. Can anyone verify this? |

Depends on the cam. If it is a reduced base circle your pushrods will probably be OK. If it is a stock cam they may be too long. Sooooo, the only correct answer is you will have to check when you install the head. |

As far as installing a "rebuilt" head on a used engine, is that ok? |

So long as the bottom end isn't on its last legs it will be fine. |

Will it be fine with the four barrel since it really isn't a "hopped up" engine? |

Maybe. Depends on how good you are at tuning. I put a ported big valve head on my stock '67 engine with a Holley 390 on an Offy intake. Worked fine. |
