I blew it and torqued down my valvetrain with 1 pushrod not seated in the lifter, bent it pretty good. I was able to pound it straight with just a ripple of a tweak. Can I run it or is that an absolute no-no? Does anyone got a spare mechanical pushrod they want to donate? |

Put in a dead-straight pushrod. They're cheap and it's easy and it'll avoid problems down the line. |

Don't run it unless you want to tear it apart again in short order. |

If it's a stck cam and valvesprings running it will probably not hurt a thing. Bill's stock motor in his Dart has had 2 in it for years that I straightened with a hammer just to get him going. |
