If I want to Go to the Larger "C" Body Tie rod Ends and Adjustment Sleeves do I just buy all the pieces and Bolt them in the 64 Dart? Are the Tapered reams the same on the Joint ends themselves? Thanks, Greg |

Yep, plug and play. You need to buy 2 each of inner tie rod ends, outer TREs, and sleeves. Some folks say the factory-type sleeves flex, but I have felt no difference when using solid sleeves (light car and no slicks). A bit of weld in the middle few inches of the sleeve to close the gap would stiffen them. IIRC, it is 74-77 C-body (Fury, New Yorker...), but I might be off a bit on the years - check Rockauto... I did it on my '64 and I can't believe the car would be Heavy enough to flex the sleeves. (also boxed the lower control arms and installed QA1 UCA's which are very nice! Grease-able Poly Bushing in UCA's and no squeeking at all!) |

And you will not be able to find a single example on the internet of anyone documenting any flex decreased in the upgrade you and countless others have made, including myself, once, NOT ONE DOCUMENTED example, short of curb smashing and concrete wall testing. Of course if you are of the mindset bigger is better, there are 3/4" TR solutions, and bigger already on the shelf. It helps if you understand the loads TR's resist/control in the first place in normal driving/turning, car weight is way at the bottom. And bottom line, waste of effort and money.
