I have a 71 Duster 225ci with a Holley 1920 and wanted to know what was needed to convert to a Carter BBS. Certain carb number, linkages, vacuum hookups, etc.

Get a '71-'72 50-state BBS or a '70 California unit, such as this one or this one or this one. Everything hooks up the same as on your Holley except the fuel fitting is on the front instead of the side; good excuse to do the Fuel line mod.

Everything bolted right up! Thank you so much. Also the fuel line mod is pretty sweet.

It bogged badly when accelerating before it warmed up. Once warm it ran great.

That'll call for some adjustment of the choke thermostat and choke pull-off, then, and making sure your thermostatic air cleaner and manifold heat control valve systems are intact and working correctly.
