Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself, I'm living in The Netherlands and bought 2 months ago this Dart GT convertible from 1964.

Since the old tires were about 20yrs old, I changed the last week to these nice white walls wich give the car a more authentic look.

This far I have changed the oil, coolant and fixed some minor issues. The car is originated in CA, but was shipped to The Netherlands about 18 yrs ago by the former owner.

For now I have some oil-leaks at the sparkplug sealings and at the power steering pump I haven't been able to solve yet.
Since there is no information about this car in The NLs and as far as I know there are less as 5 of these cars in this country, I hope I can get as much information as I need to keep this car rolling as a summer-car for me and my family.

Welcome! My oldest son lives near & works at Schiphol. After I replace the 273 in a 65 Barracuda I have with another 273, he will arrange for it to be shipped to him - I told him it will be his inheritance!

Hallo,
Yes, I was aware that you reside in the Netherlands and not Germany. I have read that many Dutch folks speak/understand German as well. I know some German, and a lot of Spanish, but I don't know any Dutch. I apologize for any confusion.
Anyway, welcome!
Bienvenidos!

No problem.

But so far a warm welcome here.
Last weekend the Dart was used for a wedding of a couple of friends of ours and at the end of August my brother will marry in the Dart.
