hi guys. I rebuilt the carb but have the dreaded peice left over. It looks to be the idle compensator gasket. It's a small yellow oring. any idea where this goes? It's not in the manual. Thanks |

It goes behind the bimetallic hot idle compensator, which in turn is behind the small rectangular sheetmetal cover on the driver's side of the carb. |

My type doesn't have those peices.The casting has those ports covered as well as the screw holes. |

Then you don't need that O-ring. |

I thought it came off the the carb and not from the kit. I must have been wrong. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. Now, to get rid of the vacuum leak at the trottle rod. |
