I need to replace my throttle cable for my 75 Swinger. I have the right cable and I have the service manual. The manual shows where it goes but I was hoping someone could just explain the best way to remove the old and connect the new before I start attempting anything.Thank you.
Here are a few pics

Figured it out.
There is a large clip that holds it in place. Pop that off and the grommet can be pushed through.

Well, if you don't fancy lying under the dash, holding a flashlight in your teeth, then the easiest way would be to unbolt the gas pedal from the firewall (you'll see the nuts to remove on the engine compartment side).
It is probably just the two nuts seen in the picture. Once it is out, you should be able to figure things out by looking at it. Basically, a metal clip holds the housing to the pedal assembly and that little plastic button keeps the end of the cable from falling out of the lever.
