If someone has a 67-76 K frame loose, I would greatly apprciate it if they could give me measurements of the center-to-center distance between the opposing mounting bolts on the K frame.

Or if someone has an old collision repair manual with the K frmae mount reference points and dimensions that would work too.

Last year I parted out a 68 Dart that had been in a bad accident. One of the pieces I kept was the K frame because it was a 73-76 A body K frame with spool mounts that had been reinforced and had all the seams welded.

My plan is to install it in my brother's 74 Duster project car, but I was looking at it yesterday and I am concerned that the front passenger side "ear" of the K frame was bent in the accident. The metal of the K frame looks a bit tweeked. If I had the distance between the bolt holes on opposing corners of the K frame I could verify that this reinforced frame is bent or is not bent. I haven't puylled the good 74 K frame yet so I can't measure it to compare.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Awesome, thanks. I had hoped to have the undamaged K frame pulled from the Duster by now but i got sick with the flu last week and lost three days.

Measure between the holes on each side (parallel to frame rail), then measure the other direction (parallel to fire wall)... then measure both ways across the diagonals.... (if the measurements on the diagonals are significantly off to each other...something is out of square...)
