part #2203039 is sure hard to find
And when one IS found - they're wanting a king's ransom for them.
Any alternatives or cross overs?

No alternatives, no aftermarket coverage, and yeah, it's going to cost more than a '62-up mount, though you shouldn't have to pay the triple-digit prices I've seen around. See here for full info. |

Thanks.... I guess my '61 could have an unoriginal engine. So, ID'ing the block could be a first step. Where would I look for the stamped engine number? It doesn't appear to be down near the alternator below the edge of the head/valve cover. |

Well, then start with the block casting number, on the side of the block under the manifolds. |
