I'm working on my 71 Plymouth 1920 carburetor. Put a kit in it all the ports were cleaned but when I accelerate quick the pump diaphragm moves very slow and the engine falls on it face. I went over the carb several times can't seem to resolve it. Any help for me?

When there is no fuel in the bowl the diaphragm moves quickly. I spayed carburetor cleaner through the ports and it comes out the 2 spray nozzles in the venture just fine.
