Hello Guys and Gals,
Its been a while since I've posted. I've just been lurking. My 1984 D150 4 speed short box is still going strong. She is still on the lean burn computer too. I've got the parts to swap it out, but I have a hard time putting the truck down and actually taking the time to do it. I've been gathering my thoughts on how I want to build the engine for a nice pickup truck street engine with some grunt. I am currently looking for a pre '75 engine to use, but I think even the later motors with the cast crank will do for my intended purpose. I'm just going to build the spare engine when I find one and keep driving my beloved pickup. Since I don't think the thing is ever going to get tired enough to quit.
Anyway I just wanted to drop in and say hello. Thanks again for the site and a lot of great reading and very informative threads.
