Hey everyone - I'm midway through a brake line rebuild, using 3/16" copper/nickel, and am realizing I'm going to need to order another roll of the stuff. I'll have a ton left over, and right there next to the brake line is a rusty ancient clutch cylinder and lines...

SO, my question: the existing clutch line appears to be 1/4", would it be a bad idea to use 3/16" there?

If I DO get 1/4", is it bad to mix 1/4" and 3/16" in the brake system?

Thanks muchly - Jason
