(273A) I was curious as to have anyone run a Stromberg WW on their Slant Six-Super six conversion. This seems like a far superior version of the Carter BBD. Build quality, material quality, the WW3 fast idle cam is made from metal and not plastic! It does not wear out like the cheap plastic cams. I did and run a search for the carb on the forums and read everything. |

I ran one on my '65 for a few years, and another one on my '62 for a few years. Clean and in good condition, they tend to be "shut up and work" carburetors. |

I know I read all the posts and I just bought one of yours! Thanks Again Dan. One of the throttle blades although was bent up enough to let enough extra air flow through...(not damaged through shipping it was dropped with throttle blades open) I pulled it and bent it back in the table vice clamp. Thought about pulling the throttle blades from a Carter BBD, since the throttle bore is the same, but I got it close.
