Will this be an All Mopar Show or one of those Ford - Mopar Hybrid Shows?

Looks like the date for the MATS Vegas show will be April 21-23 2017. Just got a e-mail today. I had a few that were asking.. |

Well it has been changed to MUSCLE CARS AT THE STRIP,,but that has been for the last few years.Still it's 90% MOPAR

Later is better, the first time I went there was a snow storm from Seattle to Vancouver. Shooting for 2018, car should be ready by then. |

Yes it is later.We have to wait for NASCAR and NHRA to set their dates and then they will give MATS their date. I to like it later,possible better weather.. |

It depends on how my father is doing if we honor not. I planned on it though. Car will get the big motor put back into it in a few weeks. |

Update, I just got word that the Jay Leno, Bob Riggle HEMI UNDER GLASS rollover car will be there. The car has been rebuilt and Jay and Bob plan on doing a "DO OVER" but this time make it a full pass ride.They will be filming "Jay's Garage" show during the event. |

I ended up leaving prior to the finals. First timer Marcus vs 2-time runner up Michelle. Andrew has all the details. Scott was taking photos. Started with 8 cars. Terry Scott had a trans leak so that put him out. Steve Nitti hauled his Procharger, fuel injected '71 Duster out from Minnesota. I know the car was running 11.4s in qualifying since I got to see the score board while I was still on my run. Friday & Sunday there was wind. No rain or snow this year. |

I got the ladder from Andrew. Here are the MATS points. Marcus Keltner (Rookie) - 35 Michelle St. Onge-Bohman - 25 Mike Keller - 15 Allen Dutra - 15 Denny Baierl (Rookie) - 5 Andrew Howard - 5 Scott Jones - 5 Terry Scott - 5 *** Can someone please confirm the spelling of Denny's last name? I have him as either Baierl or Buierl (from the MATS 2012 results). Thanks! |

Denny's last name is Baierl. He is the son of Dial In Don Baierl my bracket racing hero when I was in my 20s. Don and Denny are the owners of Sharadon Performance, the builders of Steve Nitti's car and many other awesome Mopars. |
