...For future use. I have an engine stand, but its being used. What are the other safe, practical options? Thanks! |

Rust is the enemy and it comes from moisture in the air. There are desiccant plugs you can screw in place of spark plugs, but I'd just oil the cylinders and put desiccant pouches in the intake and exhaust manifolds before sealing them with aluminum tape. I'm assuming you're storing a complete, assembled engine as you didn't state otherwise. |

Thanks for the response. Yes, assembled and complete, except for the intake and exhaust manifolds. I should also point out that this could be temporary, not so much long term. I may just buy another engine stand, or see if I can find a pallet. Thanks for your response! |
