The back of my leafsprings look fine, they come down from the shackles to the axle in a slight curve (not completely flat but close). the front is wierd, it curves but instead of going back up to meet the front shakle, it dips below the top of the axle first then starts to curve up to meet the front shackle. So instead of the spring overall having a U shape, it can best be described as a very short W. Are these bad springs, or possibly bad shocks, or both? There isn't any significant weight in truck, less then 100lbs.... and the front of the car is higher then it should be. It might be worth mentioning that the car is on a slanted driveway with the front of the car towards the higher part, but its no where steep enough of a slant to cause this wierd suspension behaviour. The car has been sitting on the same driveway for years without any of these abnormalities. I just noticed this weird stance after reinstalling the motor.
