Can someone recommend a good ( preferably adjustable ) performance timing chain/gear set for my high output 225 project? |

You really have 2 choices unless you find an NOS Mopar roller set... the Rollmaster set is a good one with multiple keyways for indexing on the crank gear... you may have to massage the crank gear since tolerances were machined tight. The only other option is the Cloyes set, but we haven't gotten a group buy in a while, so you may need to part one together from cloyes parts or alternate brand names using the same castings/chains (Gearmaster/etc...) |

I think camshaft timing is easier with the offset bushings on the cam gear rather than the multiple keyways on the crankshaft gear......... |

You mean offset bushings on the CAM gear? Because a cam gear is much easier to remove than a crank gear.

It is easier to degree the cam with the bushings... sometimes you may need to go a bit farther than the bushings allow (or are trying to use up odd bushings in the pack...LOL) and the crank gear is handy to have.
