Im (trying) running a Clifford 4bbl with a 390 holley. The slant cable is kind of to long so I was wondering what some of you guys are using.

I installed Summit throttle cable and trans kickdown kits when I upgraded to a Super Six with a Motorcraft 2150 carburetor. These are universal, trim to length kits and work really well for me.

IDK what car you are using you slant in, but on my Dart and Barracuda and soon my 64 Valiant, I used a V8 throttle cable when I went to Super Six with a 2100 Motorcraft...I suspect the same cable should work for a 4bbl.

I thought the V8 was a shorter one

It is. The 1bbl cable is miles too long. It will work with a 2bbl super six, but can get "bindy" because it is folded a lot to fit into the short throw to the 2bbl.

Again, I have never run a 4bbl. I have run a 2bbl in both situations above.

Thanks mopar_nocar. Its in a 67 Dart. I turned the carb the 90* yesterday so its lined the same as the firewall not the engine I think the cable will fit this way. If not Ill try the V8 or lokar if necessary.
