For decades, carburetor rebuild kits came with die-cut cardboard float gauges applicable for the carburetors covered by the kit. These were basically cardboard versions of the metal ones shown in the service manual. Some years ago, kits stopped coming with those gauges; now they come with a useless strip-of-paper ruler that cannot be used to set the float on most carburetors.

I scanned in three Carter BBS float gauges covering the entire range of recommended float settings, from 7/32" to 5/16". That scan is here. I have no CAD skills, but it ought to be a cinch for somebody on here to grab the file and figure out a way how to spit out usable gauges. The dimensional rectitude of the scanned gauges can be assured by indexing off the specified dimension: 7/32" on the gauge that provides 7/32" and 9/32" sides, and either 1/4" or 5/16" on the gauge that has those two sides.

I don't have scans of gauges for the Holley 1920, Carter BBD, Stromberg WA3 or WW3, or any other carburetor—and I am unlikely ever to; somebody else will have to provide those.

But these'll be a good start, yes?

I'm afraid I can't provide better measurements; you'll have to derive them by printing them out, measuring the named dimensions, comparing your measurements to the callouts, and (if necessary) applying a correction factor to all other dimensions.

I've noticed that sometimes scans aren't always scaled correctly with X and Y at the same time......

Also had these real nice ones come in from jerame_c (.zip file with dimensional PDFs and SLDPRTs). I wish I knew more about stuff like 3D printing and laser scanning than just, "COOL!".
